We are looking for a Security and Monitoring Engineer with 2 years of experience to strengthen the security, monitoring and operational reliability of our cloud and application environments. The role will work across AWS, Linux, microservices, network infrastructure, firewalls, security patching and monitoring.

Monitor infrastructure, applications and services for security and performance issues. Configure and maintain firewall policies and network security controls. Perform security patching across Linux and application environments. Support AWS infrastructure security and operational activities. Troubleshoot network, application and infrastructure issues. Monitor microservices and identify abnormal behaviour or potential security incidents. Assist with vulnerability remediation and security hardening. Maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts. Work with DevOps and engineering teams to investigate incidents and improve security and system availability.

2 years of experience in security, DevOps, infrastructure or monitoring roles. Good knowledge of AWS and Linux. Understanding of microservices and network design. Hands-on experience with security patching, firewall configuration and infrastructure monitoring. Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills. Good understanding of cloud and application security concepts.
